Amazon is under siege!

Amazon.com, the largest retailer online, is at the moment under attack by net-pirates.
The pirates have developed an Mozilla Firefox add-on called ‘Pirates of the Amazon‘. With the plugin activated you are able to shop at Amazon, without paying a single dollar. Instead of clicking at the “buy button”, the add-on puts a “get for free” link to a torrent file at The Pirate Bay with the equalent content.
The projects purpose is “to be a counterpart to the current models of media distribution” and “redistribute the wealth“. Heroic isn’t it?
The pirates behind the project clearly states that they act independently from The Pirate Bay and that they don’t host or link to any illegal content.
